I bought this monitor along with two different technology pens and some whiteboard software, mainly for writing. While the touchscreen works overall, the typing portion was pretty poor. I suspect there's a reason Dell doesn't sell a stylus for this monitor: the typing feel on it just isn't great. It can work well if you write very slowly (the tip moves very slowly across the monitor), but it just doesn't work for me. All records have been stripped of more subtle functions. Recording aside, the monitor does what it's advertised for. I found the default brightness too bright, but this is an easy fix. For some reason Dell ships the monitor with a DisplayPort cable instead of HDMI, although there is an HDMI port on the back and it works great.
