I buy a lot of water bottles. I don't know what's going on, but my guess is that they suddenly grow legs and come out of my house. Sometimes I find parts of it, like straws or lids, but rarely do I find a complete set. I mean, it can't be a burglary. What self-respecting thief would break into your home to steal half a bottle of water? It's great and I'm holding onto it with all my might. This is literally my favorite. It holds a large amount of water and the neck of the bottle is big enough to hold even huge chunks of ice. The lid is screwed on tightly, the lid never leaks! I can fill it about halfway with ice and then pour about 20 ounces of water through the hole in the lid instead of the screw top. It will hold up so easily. The lid is weird but I like it. It's almost conical. Once you unscrew it you have a large opening to put ice or fruit in, but when you screw it back on you have a drinking spout to which you can easily add water or other beverages or flavorings. . The cap is the source of the bottle's weight when empty, so it can sometimes tip over if you're not careful. Another thing to note is that this lid opens with a button. Some people find this annoying. I find it comfortable. It allows you to drink with one hand and I love it! Also, the lid locks closed so I don't have to worry about it opening because I didn't secure it properly. It has a clearly audible click that signals it is closed. The bottle is durable. I've dropped it many times and it came out completely unscathed. I'm not saying I dropped it off skyscrapers, but it fell out of my fingers and didn't break. in use. I've never attached it to the ring on my bag, but I've carried it short distances, both full and empty, and it never creaked or groaned. As for cleaning, every day or two I toss mine in some soap and water and hand wash them. I don't have a dishwasher and have never thrown them in the freezer or left them in a hot car. It always contained only water, so I can't speak about the coloring. The lid is sometimes a bit difficult to clean under the locking area, but is otherwise very easy to clean.
