These are great journals- slightly larger than traditional traveler's size but smaller than 8x10, so they are the perfect size for me. They seem to be great quality and I like the feel of the paper.The only quirk I had was that one of the journals had a "singed" mark on the edge of the journal, as if it had been burned by something before it was wrapped for shipment. I don't mind because my journals do NOT stay pristine but if you are going for clean, minimal, and really neat looking volumes, that might be something that is a big problem for you.
