I wanted some battery/remote controlled candles for my windows but the price was prohibitive. Found them and took a chance based on the reviews. Pros: Battery operated (gives a neat look - no cords) * Can be remotely controlled * Great price that also includes batteries * Timer options (4 hour or 8 hours) and flame options (flickering or steady) * Can use my own candle holders Cons A : Only one color. It would be great if they were a color other than white * As others have reported, in timer mode they seem to turn on about 10 minutes late every day. I'm happy with that. just reset every week or so. No big deal.* Some of them have a very slight curve (not perfectly straight). I just rotate them to a position that minimizes that view. *Personally I would like a 6 hour option for timer mode. 4 hours seems short and 8 hours seems too long. Overall I am very happy with these candles. I have ordered several sets. They do exactly what I want them to do.
