I can say with confidence that it works. I made a small bag to put my electronics in. I was able to block cell service. I couldn't find my phone with FMIP and I couldn't ping it with FMIP. He lost cell phone reception while in that bag. I also put a bluetooth keyboard in my bag and it lost signal too. Tips: You need a layered fabric to create an effective barrier.
