I started looking for a mouse pad when I started using my personal laptop on the glass kitchen table. Modern optical mice (mice?) work well on almost any textured surface, but not well on glass surfaces and smooth, solid surfaces. I already have a TECHNET mouse that works great, so when I bought this TECHNET mouse pad I got a . I was a little worried that the mouse pad might be too small or the palm rest uncomfortable, but once it arrived and I started using it, none of those items were an issue. like a filler that compresses well under the weight of my hand/wrist so it doesn't feel uncomfortable. The size of the mouse pad is also just right for my use. Most newer optical mice track movement very well and require very little mouse movement to move from one edge of your computer screen to the other. For vertical scrolling, I just use the mouse scroll wheel. I also find the mouse pad material very comfortable and the rubber backing keeps the mouse from moving across my glass table. As you can see, I really like this mouse pad, the only slight downside is that the TECHNET trademark is printed on the mouse pad, but it's not obtrusive and fits my TECHNET mouse, so it's not a big deal for me. Hope this information helps. As with all my reviews, I will update this review if I come across any issues. Note. I will post a picture of the mouse pad with measurements very soon. (Did!)
