These are 2 tubes of paint! You have to buy the developer separately. I thought one of the tubes was the developer. This tube lasts a long time because you only use a small amount of paint at a time. I watched youtube videos to learn how to mix color and developer. You will need a small plastic or glass container and a small brow brush. For more precision. I also had cotton pads ready to wipe the solution off my brows. I just left it on for 30 seconds and then wiped it off. You can always darken the color and apply another coat, but leaving it on for too long will make your brows too dark. So I prefer to apply multiple coats at short intervals to better control the darkness. You can also use this dye to get your desired brow shape. The great thing is, if you make a mistake, it will go away after a few days. Don't worry if it gets on your skin. It will go away in a day or two. It stays on my eyebrows for about a week. But once you get the hang of it, it's so easy to use that you can paint it more often. My sister helped me color my eyelashes. I also bought some great Revain gel pads to put under my eyes. She put petroleum jelly on my eyelids to protect them. This color lasts about a week on my lashes. She liked it, so she also bought brown paint that came in a kit with a developer, a container for the mixture, and a brush. However, this set was not black. Brown suits me too. I just had to use more layers and let them sit longer. All in all it was a fun beauty activity.
