Review on Good Earth Herbal & Black Tea, Sweet & Spicy, 18 Count Tea Bags (6-Pack) - Improved Packaging, Possible Variations by Joe Taniguchi

Gradually more disappointing

I have been buying Good Earth Tee for almost 10 years. I really liked the taste and felt comfortable drinking it. In recent years the taste has been questionable. I recently bought a bulk pack of 6 boxes from Revain. Each of the tea bags I've tried from different boxes is bitter. Then I bought a box of Sweet and Spicy from another store and it was bitter. I then bought another case in a neighboring state hoping it would be a different production batch and it was bitter too. As an alternative, I tried the caffeinated version and the organic version. While the caffeine type tastes better, I can't drink it at night when I'm more likely to drink tea. The organic version is a very mildly flavored tea with very little difference to tap water. For a time it was pleasant and slightly healing for my digestion. This last purchase exceeded my tolerance for bitterness. I think that's where I'm done with Good Earth Tee.
