I applied a pea sized amount to my previously shoulder length hair but wow! Rough! Not only did it NOT heal my hair, it looked messy! Also wet, dull, oily, greasy and unwashed (that's after I just washed it!) I had to wash this dirt off my hand 4 or 5 times (hot water and dawn!) before it finally washed off. . I can't wait to find out how much lather it takes to wash out of my hair. (I didn't have time to wash it out of my hair right away, so I had to go about my day with this horrible, messy, greasy hair! And it ended up on the collars of my clothes—yes!) And no shine! Pooh! (Perhaps it's only meant to be used when you know you won't run out (perfect pandemic remedy?). Oil, neem herb and/neem bark.) But this stuff didn't even temporarily improve my hair. It's like pure dimethicone + shortening. I wish I had ever used it.
