I have a 2017 Camaro SS that appears to have been sterilized because GM missed a shift 1-4. When buying a sports car with a manual transmission, pay attention to the feel and sound of all gears. This product did a great job of eliminating forced skipping. Although the dash still shows text to skip shifts, I can now shift from first to second gear no matter how I drive. Did exactly what is written. The installation turned out to be a bit difficult due to the large space between the gearbox and the cardan tunnel. Installation took about 15 minutes total including jacking up the car and completing the installation. The connectors also appear to be waterproof.
