Review on Renewed Logitech MK545 Advanced Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for Effortless Productivity by Anson Chen ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

At store, I was already wary of its bulky appearance, and when I got it home, the bottom frame only added to my misgivings. The transition from a traditional keyboard was challenging. The bottom part constantly destroys landmarks, making it impossible to start typing without looking at the keyboard first, leading to frequent mishits. Metal plates' added weight was another annoyance. The keyboard on the table is one I routinely adjust, but this one refuses to budge. Perhaps someone will find this appealing; your tastes will vary; make up your own mind. The nice old wired MK120 set is the best, I concluded after some time. The mouse feels good in my hand, but the wheel spins so tightly that an hour in I find myself wishing for a different model. I don't get the reasoning behind this action. Logitech is unable to mass produce regular sets at this time. My search for a standard keyboard is an ongoing source of misery for me. When I need a mouse, I'll grab the MK295 set, but I'll swap out the dwarf mouse for an MK560 right away.

Pros
  • Keystrokes
Cons
  • hefty, thick, and occupying a lot of room
