Review on 👖 Hanes EcoSmart Women's Open Bottom Leg Sweatpants by Micheal Wright

How it fits and how not.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems to me that the sweat gets thinner with the years and this is a good example of a "thinner sweatshirt”, I recall me when the sweat volume factor was significant enough to make you consider what coats and other outerwear you can and cannot wear with it. With that caveat, it's not bad. They are thinner than expected but can be used for morning walks in 45 degrees without an extra layer if you keep moving. The legs were quite long, and the very large ones were just right for the large hips. But this purchase made me realize WHY many sweatpants have drawstrings: A good fit at the hips may or may not provide a good fit at the waist. Again, this is another example that "extra large" does not mean: the length between the crotch and the top of the waist should be longer than it is now. If I wanted my crotch area to be defined, I'd wear skinny jeans rather than sweatpants. They're not as bad as some I've seen, but still, hoodies should be loose, not tight. While I understand this is again a function of those hips, EXTRA LARGE should also include additional large sizes for that area. 4 stars because, despite these complaints, it's still wearable, functional, and comfortable.

Pros
  • Open hem sweatpants with wide jersey waistband
Cons
  • Something else
