So I read some reviews and decided I should keep my own. I've started working at a new salon and the logo is a poodle very similar to the one on the back so I bought a few ourselves. Yes, there was a strong smell when I first opened it. Hang it in the sun for a while. It's going ok. It has good stretch and length. I live where it is hot and humid, there is almost no winter, it is easy and comfortable. Pockets are deep and strong enough to put scissors in and don't worry about dropping them. It's not waterproof, but it's water-repellent and dries quickly. Haven't had any issues with the logo peeling off (3 months) but I do hand wash and hang dry. The way it repels hair is of course the most important. I took mine home to wash and forgot about it and put on my apron instead... I had it everywhere. It was awful and pathetic and I didn't realize how valuable it was to me. It repels all hair and I can't find it in my pockets when I'm wearing it. For less than $20 I order more, so I never go without.
