This product is a great idea to add functionality to the front of the center console storage box. It looks good and basically does what it was designed to do. One minor issue is that they added two springs to prevent the console's sliding door from closing completely and it stops to keep the back half of the tray closed while the cup holder area is still open/available for use. You can always close the door completely if you want to close the entire area. Not a bad idea if it works. The problem is that the springs are initially stiff which makes the door a bit painful to open, and then after repeated use the springs weaken and then stop working properly (the door closes fully most of the time). So if you really need the functionality described above, then too bad. I just leave the door fully open or fully closed, so the fact that the springs don't work properly isn't an issue for me.
