I ordered the black cotton dress in an XL and it fit perfectly. I am 5’10” 200lbs and a 40b. I mostly ordered my size based on many of the suggestions in the comments to order the size you normally wear. I did also double check my size with the measurements provided by the seller. This dress is definitely true to size so don’t order a size up unless your measurements don’t match with the chart.The dress itself is very cute. It sits a couple inches above my knees, which I suspected being on the taller side. There is a shallow v-neck on the back of the dress that I wasn’t aware of when I bought the dress, but I think it adds a nice touch. The scoop neck in the front sits just above mid-chest level on me (though I have a small chest so it may be different for you). The width of the straps are approximately two finger widths as well. All in all it’s a cute plain black dress that can be dressed up or down based on where you’re wearing it to. Last week I went to the museum and wore a bulky cardigan over it to keep warm.Also, I’ve washed it twice now and the color has held up so far. I hung it up to dry because the tag says not to dry it. It gets a little wrinkly at the bottom but as long as you quickly take it out of the washer and hang it up it shouldn’t be too bad.
