Review on Merrell Snow Bank 2.0 Waterproof Snow Boot: Ultimate Winter Protection for Toddlers, Little Kids & Big Kids by William Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great boots but no room for thick socks.

Bought a size 13 for a 5 year old this winter. He just measured his feet and found a size 12.5. Size 13 fits him perfectly, but does not go well with very thick wool socks - I would have to go one size bigger for that. However, that doesn't seem to matter and doesn't detract in the slightest from my review or our experience with these boots. I dress him in pantyhose and regular socks and his feet stay warm and dry in Northwest Pennsylvania. :) These boots feel lighter than other winter boots he's worn in the past which makes them look cheap to some people. They are very durable however they have been used a lot (even in weather from 30F and blowing snow to 60+ F and sunshine) and they are not heavy or clunky on the feet. Great purchase, I'm already planning to buy a new pair when he outgrows them.

Pros
  • Adjustable button closure for a secure fit
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
