Looks like good lights - but out of the box 1 of 4 didn't work. When it was turned on, it was indeed dark. I changed the batteries in it and when it turned on it burned with a bright light but turned off with a simple smack or tap. So - 3 that appear normal and one that is actually useless. They give a carabiner, which is good, but it would be even better if the lantern had a carabiner hole. You can attach the light to a Velcro carabiner, but it's a little clumsy. Another note: I had 2 red ones, green and blue. No big deal - I just assumed there were 4 different ones. Luckily it was one of the reds that failed.
