This socket allowed me to fix an expensive pendant light above my kitchen island. One of the original 3 sockets has been damaged over time from the original halogen bulbs overheating and the hot environment above our gas stove. I also changed all the bulbs to LEDs. The only drawback: the supplied cables were quite short and small. If you have electrical knowledge, they will come in handy.
