Great shoes. I'm the wrong size

I'm wearing $11.5 running shoes and thought since I'm buying athletic shoes I'd choose same size shoes. Turns out I needed a size down because there's almost no padding (which makes sense. They're meant for kicking and need to be very light to allow for flexibility. After ordering the correct shoe size, I decided to trying them out. After 2 weeks of training the heels started to fall off.I thought it was a defective pair so I sent them back and got a replacement. But after a week I noticed the strain on the heels again,a week later I have the same problem My shoe problems can come from a number of problem areas: 1) The floor we train on is a special athletic plate designed for traction - unfortunately during warm ups and splits or anything that involves the heels of the ground to be touched. scratches more than usual. 2) I'm probably a little more strict about shoes than most people. I don't compromise by twisting my feet and taking deep stances in our traditional patterns/kata/poomsae. I hope this will be helpful for future buyers, I really love the shoes! I want them to think better of me. (Also, I apologize to customer service or whoever returned my shoes. I wrote a personal apology and sent it back with my last pair of shoes.)
