I bought the XL a few months ago when I was a bit heavier (5ft 11" and 250lbs). After losing 15lbs the is XL size a little big on my waist so I ordered L. The waist is perfect. However, I have muscular calves, quads and glutes. L is quite tight on my calves and very tight on my quads and glutes. If you wear them for use training i recommend going one size up.I can't squat (or do a horse pose for other martial artists) without feeling like they're about to burst in the crotch.Other than that these pants are very comfortable.
