All in all, these are great water boots! I use them on the beach and when kayaking. They feel comfortable compared to others I've had. The sole is not as cushioned as with a running shoe, but quite decent for a water shoe. The tread on the underside lets water through and also provides decent traction. They are light and airy. I both only weighed 324.8 grams. It's less than a pound. I ordered a size 12 because they don't offer my usual size 11.5. Missing a half size is common in sandals and water shoes. This leaves little room in the fingers, but overall the fit feels comfortable. I could see the mesh stretch for a wider foot, but it's still pretty tight for a standard size. I don't dangle by my feet. I wouldn't want to walk in them but they are great for walking on the beach and riding a boat. The only annoying thing is that the strings are very long. Good 6 inches or more. They hang down the sides and get in the way. I have to tie them in a bow so they don't move. I have no idea why really long lines are needed. However, this is my only complaint. So far I like everything else about these water shoes.
