Review on Enhance Your Outdoor Experience with Lightscape Long Sleeve by Randy Bin

Super light; all small sizes defective

Exofficio did a good job replacing his dry flylight shirt with this lightscape shirt. That's the obvious intention. The cut suits the light landscape more, not as boxy as an old dry fly shirt. The fabric is identical and in my opinion the best available. 73% nylon suppresses odors while 27% polyester makes the shirt softer. Extremely light. I hike a lot in the desert and have only worn white flylight dry shirts for many years. I bought the white one again and was able to wear the small one this time due to the improved tailoring. However, the delivery of small white shirts in her size should never have been accepted by the ex officio, due to an obvious sewing error or perhaps an error in the cutting of the front of the shirt. Take a close look at the model in the white shirt. She wears small and you can see that the pockets are open, especially at the bottom seam of the breast pocket. This does not apply to a medium size white shirt. I also ordered it for size comparison and the fit/cut was just right. This is an obvious quality control issue and I almost made myself choose a medium size. Despite the quality control issue, I went for the small size because whoever designs these shirts ex officio has a much sloppier waist-to-hip ratio than me. The medium one stands out on my body at the hips, although its dimensions at the shoulders and chest are almost the same as the small one. My other comment relates to the new bottom pocket on this shirt. It's just a very stupid idea. The pocket is not accessible at all when the shirt is used for hiking. The backpack will get in the way. Extra weight for an absurd feature. All thanks to exofficio for keeping this incredible fabric in the hiking shirt market because it really is the coolest and lightest shirt out there.
