In my opinion they are better than the original. My original band eventually fell apart after turning it on 24/7. The original strap with plastic clasp kept coming loose. I bought a silicone strap but I didn't like it because it was too soft and didn't hold the watch tight enough. I dared and fell in love with her. The rubber is exactly the same as the original, nice and strong and keeps the watch in place. The clasp looks like metal so I think it can hold up better than plastic. The strap fits the watch just like the original and does not add thickness to the watch. The latch holds securely so you don't have to use a small strap holder to keep the loose part of the strap in place. This slightly reduces the thickness of the strip. I have black, slate blue and gray stripes. The colors on the rubber are even, beautiful and discreet for me (a guy in his 60's). I bought three straps for $10. fantastic value.
