Addendum: 7 months later the first bulb burned out during moderate night driving. I am very disappointed with the relatively short lifespan. 2 star upgrade due to short lifespan. Not sure I'll try another set, just installed a cheap bulb where this was. They have very good color and make it easy to see, but not as bright as I was hoping. We installed them on a five year old Toyota Corolla and I was hoping the headlights would be as bright as new cars. I don't feel like it's as bright as the new cars on the road, even with those bulbs. I might consider updating the HID headlights when the time comes to replace them. If the cost of doing so is prohibitive, I would probably buy these headlights again.
