This charger fits my full size Acer laptop to keep it charged when you leave it charged. The only problem you might have is that if you try to use the laptop and charge the battery at the same time, the charger will start and stop a charge cycle when the battery dies. The brick appears to be getting too hot causing an on/off charge cycle. It's no problem if you turn off or pause the laptop while it's charging, or if the laptop starts up at 100%, it stays charged while you work with no issues
