I always tend towards quality products even if they cost more when they are worth it. Although it's only a crank holder, it's well made and with a powder coat finish it should last the life of the jack or longer. As you can see in the photo, to solve the rattle problem that some have noticed when using this product (depending on how you installed the jack), I simply prepped the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove grease or body oil , and added small stripes. made of 3M flexible foam tape and when it ran out I used black tape. Problem solved! This not only stops rattling completely, but also protects the powder coating from scratches. I even added tiny strips of tape around the lock hole. Basically any surface that can come into contact with another metal surface that I have coated. So with this simple solution, why waste money on a piece of rubber that won't snap, doesn't fit well and has to slide off instead of opening?
