Fantastic design, poor quality materials

I had trouble evaluating this item. I use it every day and its design makes it very functional, but the materials are clearly a bit cheap. For example, the pockets/pouches are made of very thin material that rips almost instantly when carrying a basic phone in just a few seconds. days in action. Velcro is a bit annoying and quickly loses grip. I'd like a clasp or something. I didn't really like the strap so I replaced it with one I liked better, but that was a matter of personal preference, not a quality issue. I only had a spare strap which I liked better. As already mentioned, the design is amazing. It fits an incredible amount of stuff in a small bag and has many individual compartments. I keep all my cards in pouches, cash/change in a zip pocket underneath, a pen in a holder, my iPod in a cross pocket, some gum in a flap pocket, a checkbook in my back pocket, keys in a large flap, and in the In my main bag I have a mini flashlight, my (small) phone, a roll of dog poop bags, a pair of headphones, a rolled up reusable mesh bag, a can of Tylenol, a few other small items like caribeaners, dog treats, and multi-tools, and there's still room in there for others things when I need them. It's also nice to hook the leash on if I need my hands free for something while walking the dog. Overall, I would have liked some of the materials to be a bit stronger, but it's still great for everyday use. I don't regret buying it considering it was so cheap anyway and it has made my life so much easier since I got a new puppy and I'm lugging around a lot of junk all the time. Update - had to downgrade my rating. After three weeks of use, this bag is beyond repair. Really bad workmanship. It's a shame, but still a nice design!
