The mint is beautiful, not intrusive, but definitely there. My mouth doesn't usually seem clean when I use "natural" toothpastes, and I often brush my teeth twice; not so with birch, that's what makes it so appealing. The only downside is that the product has a very runny consistency. When I first used it, I squeezed the tube with regular pressure like I have with every previous toothpaste I've used. and at least 1/6 of the entire tube just gushed out. The consistency of the product should at least be mentioned in the description, if only as a feature.
