I'm new to false lashes and I have to say that I find magnetic lashes to be much easier to apply because the magnetic attraction is what makes the lashes Arranging lashes near their destination will help you place them correctly. Available in a variety of styles and lengths, this set comes with two magnetic eyeliner tubes and a pair of eyelash curlers to set them in place. If you are just starting out with eyelash extensions, this is a great way to do it. However, it has some disadvantages. First, I find eyeliner extremely irritating to the eyes (and to the nose since it smells so strong). It's also very difficult to remove (I have to soak my eyelids at least twice with Bi-Facil on a cotton pad and then apply micellar water and it will POSSIBLY remove everything). Be prepared to moisturize your lashes because it's the only way to get rid of this mess. Second, I find the lashes a bit uncomfortable. They feel heavier on the lid than sticky lashes and I can often feel the metal on the tape. I usually take them off a long time before I take off a pair of curling lashes because I never notice them on my eyelids. Third, if you use tweezers or calipers for eyelash extensions, do yourself a favor and just buy a decent one. This one is plastic and has no tension, so you have to manually open it to lock the lashes in and then fiddle with it again to release it from the lashes. This was a bonus for me because I was so frustrated that I just learned how to do it by hand with much better results. Despite my issues with this set, I highly recommend trying it out to see if magnetic lashes are right for you. The variety of styles gives you plenty of room to experiment with different looks, but take care of your eyelids and make sure you have the right eyeliner remover. Have fun knitting!
