The first transition from a traditional to an elastic waistband was skeptical to say the least. The best move I've ever made. There are many options and I can't speak to them, but this one was perfect. I have a waist size 33 and the recommended size and it fits perfectly, the length after closing fits just under the first belt loop on my pants. The belt is thick, not too thick, and not cheap at all, thin and flimsy. Like I said I was skeptical but now I couldn't be happier, the first thing I did was recommend this belt to a friend.
