Excellent quality t-shirt (for adult males), soft and stretchy, medium weight cotton (as far as I can tell). Both items will shrink a bit with washing, which is normal as they are quite large to begin with. Pants are really bad. As everyone has noticed - no pockets. There's also no room for a small back so they'll slip off when waking up or bending over. And although the description says it's flannel, it's not flannel at all, but a very light, stiff white twill with screen printing on the outside - at least until you've washed them. We've washed ours once and they already look like a year old, I expect them to be all gray soon. Due to the terrible quality of the pants, my husband and I would have returned ours if it weren't for the cute factor that the whole family wore the same pajamas.
