Review on 🎧 Tascam TH-02 Studio Headphones, Closed Back, Black by Adam French

This rating is based more on the durability of these things than the sound or construction etc (both are great, especially considering the price). I had a bad morning the other day, nothing was going right. I closed my car door and didn't realize my headphones had fallen out. They were TAXIED out of the car IN THE RAIN for about 30 minutes. I had no idea until I looked down and saw the cable without the headphones. I didn't expect them to be there or work at all, if not from physical damage then from water. BUT YOU WERE. The cable is intact, not damaged. The upholstery is torn and the plastic on one side is clearly scratched. But the left ear is somehow quite normal. The right speaker has been disconnected, but the muffled sound is still audible. I changed the balance to compensate for this and the bass is no longer audible. but I really can't complain given the abuse they've been through. I am really impressed. My previous headphones were Beats and while the sound quality is undeniably better, they were plastic trash. Three individual headbands broke just from putting them on my big head and I ended up saying 'The hell with everything' and decided to put the money spent fixing the Beats into them. The only reason I'm replacing them is because the rainwater got stuck in the cushions and got moldy. But wow wow I'm shocked that $20 headphones could survive this. 100% purchase of a replacement pair.
