I like this type of strap (ratchet) because I like the fact that it gives the "in between sizes" the best choice. I also love that you never have to worry about worn belt buckle holes. The belt always looks nicer. The only drawback I see is the release lever at the bottom of the buckle, which takes some getting used to. It's small and takes some getting used to if you're not used to this manufacturer's belt. I have two belts from this manufacturer and so far they have been great. I recommend them and will buy other colors. I suggest trimming them to match in small increments so you don't clip too much too quickly.
