I've tried two other systems to keep the screen on my backup monitor. My car is a Genesis Coupe and I live in the Central Valley of California where it's hot. The sucker variety continued to fall as it warmed up. It's not great to keep finding the monitor on the floor. The view for my drink holder pushed it too far back. The Genesis vents do not allow use. This one works. Easily and also detachable. If I get a new car, I can use it as a complement to the new car.
