This is a great rack, yes you have to put it together and that is a bit of a pain but how else could it be shipped. Putting it together was not so bad. I was able to do it while my 3 kiddos played. The Coat Rack itself is fantastic. We are using ours to hold all of our hats and random bags (shopping bags, beach bags, work bags and kids backpacks) so that our house is not cluttered with all of those items. The amount of items it holds is pretty significant and the rack is able to hold everything with no problem.
