Well, the floor in our house is tiled and our child is very mobile, so initially we had ABC puzzles on the floor, but we also have 3 dogs and these things are DIFFICULT to clean . However, the THISSS product is just perfect for cleaning, and if you want to vacuum underneath or whatever, it's so easy to pick up, fold up and get out of the way. The product is thick but I've only had it a week and one of my dogs stepped on it and it left a few scratches on the mat :( All her nails are trimmed so I'm hoping it was just a rip or it doesn't last long :( Overall I freaking love it and if you want it in a kids room the reversible aspect is cool. Just like the panda side is softer we have this side in our living room. But with the other side fun I would buy again!
