Review on Advanced Clinicals Aloe Vera Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Face & Body Cream Moisturizer For Dry Skin, Age Spots, Sun Damage - 16 Oz (2 Pack) by Debra Depts

Update - worked until.

UPDATE. I was LOVING this until the past couple of days. Now it's as if it's drying my skin out. I don't know if it's because of the toner & serum I used along with it or not but I'm going to stop using it on my face and just use it on my feet - with a LOT of oil.GOALS: I don't have a lot of skin issues (except that it's getting dryer as I age) but it's picky and easily a bit sensitive. I wanted something to use with my toner & serum to keep my skin healthy-looking and moisturized. This cream is good. And I'm happy to find something that I can use on both my face AND body. I thought this might be either too heavy for use on my face or too light to moisturize my body. Weirdly, this almost adjusts to where I apply it.TEXTURE of the cream: This is just thick enough without being heavy & still easy to smooth over the skin. It's also very creamy - not watery or sticky AT ALL. Once you apply this, it soaks in and disappears within a minute - so there is no visible sheen. I can start applying any makeup quickly without this cream affecting it.1st IMPRESSION: I think I've found my holy grail moisturizer. I do have to add a little bit of oil for it to be absolutely perfect for my face. Right now, I am adding a bit of apricot oil to it. I have the 2nd jar to use on my body & I added a bit of EVOO to it for that. Perfect.FACE: I don't have to use very much of it now that it's been almost a week. For the first couple of days, I reapplied once every 4 hours or so. After a while, my skin seemed to be back in balance & I only need to apply once a day. I am now using it after a ginseng water toner & a Manuka honey serum. The trio is working out well. For daytime use, I find that it works well on my face if I apply some to one finger and then tap it around before rubbing it in. It absorbs well and I can't feel it on my skin after about a full minute. As with any new product, I have to remember that, just because I can't feel it doesn't mean it might not be working. At night, I don't rub it in so much for it to completely absorb. By morning, I can't feel it but my skin is not dried out like parchment paper! I guess I will have to use this for a while longer to see how much it improves my skin overall. For now, it does IMMEDIATELY calm down my dry skin.BODY: After showering, I use this after applying my after-shower oil & letting that absorb. So far this helps the dryness a lot. Sometimes, several hours (midway through the day?) after I've applied lotion, my skin dries out to the point where my clothes irritate it. This started improving after the first couple of days & that's when I added some EVOO to the cream. Now I don't feel as if I wanted to strip down and re-moisturize until evening time.FEET: I think that most of all I like this because of how well it's moisturizing my feet! I have dry & rough feet that I have to constantly soak, scrape & baby. I've mostly used Vaseline and similar products. Those work for the appearance of my feet but don't really solve the problem. This seems to be actually improving things. My feet are softer and even when I miss a day of using the cream, my feet don't get as rough and dried out. I can't be sure but it's as if this is healing some of that roughness that I deal with.PUMP: The pump, thankfully, works great. I noticed that the tube does go all the way to the bottom of the jar. With that design, I should be able to get most of the cream out with the pump before I have to scrape the insides.OVERALL: The best of this is that it absorbs quickly & I immediately got dry-skin relief. It does not take much to do your hands & arms during the day after a lot of handwashing. I just need to figure out how to get some of this into a little container to keep in my purse.VALUE: I'm a cheapo (because I'm broke) and I almost didn't get this because it only came in a pack of 2 at the time. That price was a little off-putting for something that doesn't really look much like from the packaging. However, it has been worth every nickel for me. This is one of those things that I will be buying more of as soon as I can just in case I can't find it again. I hate when that happens! Everyone's skin is different but this works, works, and works for me. And it beats buying cheaper products that don't work because then you have to buy more cheap products. Also, I've tried more expensive products that do not work as well as this. By the way, you can see that these are BIG jars of product & they are both completely fill.INGREDIENTS: I always use INCIdecoder to check ingredients. Of the 29 ingredients listed, I like that the first one is water. The 1st of the hyaluronic family comes in at #14. There are at least 5 or 6 "skin identical" and/or moisturizers listed. There are a couple of "perfuming" ingredients kind of near the top of the list & that might bother some people. Again, I always just check with INCIdecoder to learn more about the ingredients shown. Here is a list of the ingredients:Water (Aqua), Cetearyl Alcohol, Mineral Oil, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Ceteareth-20, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Squalane, Tocopheryl Acetate, Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Punica Granatum Seed Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Panthenol, Disodium EDTA, Ceramide 2, Fragrance, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide
