I am very happy with the result! This is a great way to repurpose old pillows, towels, and clothes. You can adjust the firmness depending on the filling. I started with 5 old pillows but they were too soft for my liking (you drown). I ended up using 3 pillows, 2 towels and different clothes. It can take a lot more than you think! The product arrived fairly clean and only smelled like leather unlike the previous one I tried from Revain. After a month it smells slightly leathery when you sit on it, but that goes away quickly. It doesn't stink in the whole room or anything. The only thing I have to watch out for is the thread on the zipper which can be a bit loose. Let's see how it goes.
