This is my third ride in as many months. My X2s lasted 2 years and I feel the same about them. I thought my sweat got into the X2's cap and ended up destroying it. I was willing to live with a proprietary charging port if it would help the X4 last longer. My first pair started squeaking as soon as you turned them on after a few times. weeks. I returned it. The second pair just didn't turn on after a few weeks, I sent them back. I'm on the third now. All showed this strange behavior of random short bursts of squeaks only when watching a YouTube video and only from the right ear. They are so loud that they physically hurt my ear and I am concerned that they may damage my hearing. If I am returning these headphones I will switch to a different brand. I'm sad though because I really enjoyed the X2s.
