My husband and I love this mat for our daughter! We had a wooden floor and used a thick blanket for our daughter when she was on her stomach. Due to the thickness of the blanket we thought it would be more difficult for her to turn over. We were looking to buy a Gather brand rug but decided it was too expensive so we went with this option and it did not disappoint. She plays it every day and now when she sits alone, if she falls, she doesn't cry. I also love how easy it is to dry off if she has an accident.
