More durable than pure paper products which don't last long. I'm not saying there will never be stains as I do get a tiny oil stain or two on one of the cloths after a few years of use. My paper ones got ugly in less than 6 months. I bought it twice because my boyfriend really wanted it. What I didn't like was the strong "new" smell that came out when I opened the plastic packaging. But the smell went away after a few days. But from the second smell it was not.
