They are as thin as paper. I thought it would be ok but you literally have to line up each junk, two came out because it's not in the junk it's full and you pull it out it's torn so you have at least two layers that share half the price. The dollar store has cool colored garbage bag liners for that size and they certainly compare to these and they are cheaper and they are thicker so now that you need to double them you might as well use the small branded liners for 4 gallons buy...or buy at the store for a dollar at the right price. I'll still use them when I can, but if they break even on doubling, I'll just throw them away, which I don't want to do, but it's not worth it.
