Just tried them on at home to see if they fit my girls feet (twins, size 7 for toddlers). The fit is fairly loose and doesn't have a drawstring (which can be seen in the picture but both pairs we got are missing) so the velcro is the only way to adjust the fit and that's around the ankle only. I didn't think my kids would have narrow feet, but there's plenty of room in the shoes. It seems that the velcro can accidentally catch and loosen the strap. The shoes are cute and I love that they are machine washable but because of the zipper issue we probably won't be keeping them as her feet slip in the shoes. Edit: I ended up checking Keen's website to see if she should have an elastic strap and it doesn't look like it fits up to toddler size 7 but when it comes to toddler sizes they add elastic straps, as shown in the main characters.
