I love this arc lighter. When there are little grandkids in the house, I hate keeping matches at home. This lighter has a safety lock that must be activated or the "ignition" function will not work. When the cigarette lighter is on, the five blue lights on the front also light up. This is also how you can tell if it is charged. When the lighter is turned off, the blue lights will go out. The flexible neck is handy for reaching glass candle holders to light candles or start a BBQ. BBQ grills often give me a headache when matches keep blowing out on windy days. This is not the case with this lighter. This lighter also comes with an 8 inch charging cable. There is a hole at the bottom of this lighter for hanging. So if you want to hang it in the kitchen or anywhere else, it's easy. This is an extremely useful article. have at one's fingertips. I also feel more secure having it in the house. No butane and no fear of playing children. The only way this lighter could be improved would be if there were written instructions for the buyer. There are small printed instructions on the back of the black box it comes in, but I had to get a magnifying glass to read them. Otherwise, I would recommend this lighter to anyone.
