Monthly Subscription with CamHi App, Onvif Support for NVR with 140F, 5x Optical Zoom, 5MP, PTZ and 10 IR -Lights for night mode. When I opened the box, I found a solid SD10W 5MP camera. The camera body is made of heavy-duty steel with a strong mounting base. The instructions were good as I installed and set up the camera within minutes using the CamHi app. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a cordless drill to install the SD card and mount the camera. My first reaction upon watching the live stream was that the video is so clear and detailed! Then I started playing around with the PTZ and zoom functions and they both worked great. I was very excited to try people tracking but it didn't work. Then I found out I was an idiot and forgot to turn on people tracking in the app. The camera followed me around the house. I was very pleased. After my brief test, I added an SD10W 5MP camera using Onvif protocol to my La View NVR (Hikvision OEM). Motion detection doesn't work with Onvif, but that's to be expected. Continuous recordings look great in the La View app. What's even more surprising is that the PTZ feature works great in the La View app. As night fell, I checked the night mode. I was pleasantly surprised at how much brighter the video stream is compared to my old camera. Added before and after photos. Night mode tracking works reasonably, I had to set the humanoid alert in IE to a threshold of 35 (any higher value gives a false positive) so you'll have to play around with it to see what works for you. I have included videos and pictures of this wonderful camera in action.
