So I bought this item because I dropped my last laptop at school and I replaced it. This is my second screen protector. I accidentally sat on the first one and broke it the same day I received it. They are so crunchy I forgot where it was on the couch because I was cooking, so after cooking I accidentally sat on it and cracked it. I bought another one and put it on immediately. A day later I dropped my laptop and the screen didn't crack, although I was more worried about the hard drive. But I think it works!
