Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Metra 95-7504 DD Dash Kit for Mazda 3 2004-2009 - Prime Installation Solution by Russ Conrad

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money

It took a few tries as the instructions were terrible but we managed. I ended up googling the PDF with instructions for these parts because the diagrams were tiny and I could zoom in on my phone. There were a few parts that we didn't use, like the fairing between the satnav box and the plastic that didn't fit, and a few plastic parts that looked like they needed to be screwed in somewhere. We didn't fully install the top gray trim when I took the photo, there's still some cable fiddling that we'll have to fix another day so we didn't screw everything in for the photo. The body has a gap at the bottom which is what most other reviews say and I haven't fully worked out the solution. Regardless, you can't see that gap because of the angle you're sitting in the car. You have to bend down to notice them, so it really doesn't matter. Also, this is a 2006 Mazda 3, I just changed the air conditioning and heater controls to be knobs like the newer Mazda 3 versions.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Useless features
