The "L" on this nose ring is longer for easy insertion upon arrival. I was having trouble with the surgical steel used to pierce my nose so I wanted to try titanium - it was the perfect solution. I received the ring on Monday and put it in. It's Thursday and my stomach is almost completely gone! Highly recommended :)
