Easy gain is good for spares

It took about an hour to install this air intake on my armada. Everything included, easy to install. No fit problems. I took off a star because the instructions were in black and white. But the photos are not very helpful. However, as mentioned, there is a great installation video on YouTube. Clamps for the two smaller hoses would also be nice. I reused the two standard clamps shown in the video on two smaller air hoses. The hoses are included but there are NO clamps for them. They fit securely and are the right length. I had a question about the controller and tech support picked up the phone right away. I spoke to a very friendly and helpful technician. The Specter and K&N products seem similar enough that they share the same support staff. My question was related to the need to reprogram the ECU after installation, which you don't do. When installing, be sure to disconnect the battery. I am told that this will clear the ECU which will then relearn the data after you reconnect the battery and start the engine. The video shows the inlet installed. I have a Flowmaster 40 exhaust on my truck and that intake is a Specter. I've definitely picked up some horsepower and the sound has improved too, on top of what the Flowmaster has already given me. I can feel the difference in torque and acceleration at low revs. No engine codes or flashing lights after installation.
