UPDATE August 2019 I've had them for about a year now and apart from a few small scratches on the lenses they are still in perfect condition. My attempts to keep them in my suitcase failed and they ended up flying all over the house. I didn't think they would hold up to abuse, but mine held up very well; sleeping in them, sitting on them in the car, cats playing with them, etc. Again, I highly recommend these reading glasses. I'm finally buying my second pair and these with their small scratches are downgraded to live in my car. couple Walmart. I had a few that I looked at while working through them. What attracted me was not only the design but also the nose pads. They weren't the typical ones that seem to pinch after prolonged wear. They are made of lightweight, flexible plastic. It's like you're not wearing glasses at all. They are perfect for me to read and draw up close and then look up and see into the distance. The lenses are very clear and sharp. The frame is made of velvety soft plastic, which is very flexible. They come in a felt-lined case that looks like grained wood and a microfiber cleaning cloth. These are lightweight goggles and I wouldn't expect them to stand up to rough handling. But I keep mine at home and try to keep it in a suitcase. I often forget I'm wearing them, they're so light and transparent. I am in the process of getting a second pair to keep in my car/purse. Finally reached the age where they become a necessity.
